I will lead you through the way to shape up and lose body fat. A fun, toning and conditioning class with weights.  It is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their athletic riding program. The simplicity of the class makes FIT TO RIDE a great starting point to develop strength and confidence. Hot sounds and compelling choreography keep you going through each 45-minute or one-hour workout. You’ll use a step platform, a bar and a set of weights.

 

If you’re new to weights-resistance exercise or you’re out of shape, you should start with light weights. After a few classes you’ll recognise the correct weight for you. I will advise you on appropriate weight amount for each body part so you do not bulk up muscles that will conflict with what is needed for effective dressage riding!

Your stomach can be much flatter, stronger and more toned and as well as these benefits, your back and butt will also receiving toning!   There are various techniques to strengthening your abs and these include crunches and a multitude of floor and equipment based procedures that can help you to quickly improve your stomach muscles and ensure you have abs to be proud of.

Devon holds MASTER TUTOR Status - the Fitness Instructor's Instructor!  Holding 17 fitness qualifications including Advanced Step, Advanced Aerobics, Johnny G Spinning Certified, National Register of Personal Trainers, Royal School of Arts Certified Fitness Instructor, Les Mills Body Pump and Body Combat Certified and Aerobics Organization of Great Britain full range of fitness qualifications.  Devon also released one of the first ever Step Workout videos in the United Kingdom (back in 1992) and proceeded to teach workshops, clinics and examinations throughout the world.  Devon was also the personal fitness trainer to UK Celebrities and Fitness Expert for the UK National Magazine "Your Horse".

 

Bringing decades of fitness instruction experience together with decades of horse-riding experience .. Devon will be combining her unparalleled knowledge of both worlds to bring out the true athletes in her students!  The "Fit to Ride" program is FREE for active students of Horses in Harmony.  Non-active students will be required to pay a $5/per class fee.  No contracts, no commitments.  Just pay as you go!

 

When?

ABS-olutely FAB-ulous Abs Only Workout ....  Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30pm

Class Duration:  30 Minutes

Bring a mat, towel and some water!

 

FIT TO RIDE - Muscular Strength and Endurance Workout - Thursday at 10am and Saturday at 4pm

Class Duration:  60 Minutes

Bring a mat, towel and some water!  Please book ahead of time as I will need to provide enough equipment for each student.
